Hi Simon, l have modified the machine a bit to suit my needs. Including some 6 metre hoses. So l don’t have to take the pasture topper off to use the splitter. Otherwise very pleased. Do you have any of those top plates, with the slot in, you mentioned when l collected the machine? Got to come to Kettering soon so l could collect one. I will bring or send some photos.

The log splitter is really good, the only problem we had was the delivery, waited all day & it never arrived, arrived the next day without any notice , I ask the driver to just drop it off, he said he needed a forklift to do that, which he hadn’t got, lucky we had a JCB otherwise I don’t know how he would of managed to get it off.
We was never told we needed anything to get it off the truck, if we had of been told it would have made it much better to be prepared

Having not seen the product you are always a bit worried of the quality. Having now used it or should say my wife uses it the splitter is as strong as I have seen one and goes through the knots without effort
